Baseball. USC Defeats No. 14 Arizona 8-4
LOS ANGELES - On the day USC celebrated the 40th anniversary of their 1972 National Championship by honoring the team on the field, the Trojans rewarded them with a victory as well defeating No. 14 Arizona 8-4 at Dedeaux Field. USC snapped a nine-game losing streak and improve to 23-26 (8-18 Pac-12) while Arizona drops to 35-16 (17-9 Pac-12).

M. Golf. No. 5 USC Wins NCAA Ann Arbor Regional
Sophomore Jeffrey Kang carded his second consecutive 67 while senior Steve Lim and junior Sam Smith each fired 69s to lead the No. 5 USC men's golf squad to victory at the 2012 NCAA Ann Arbor (Mich.) Regional on Saturday (May 19) at the Michigan G.C. and earn a spot in the upcoming Trojan-hosted NCAA Championships.

W. Tennis. USC Women Stun Stanford In NCAA Quarterfinals
The USC women's tennis team made history today with its first win over Stanford in an NCAA Tournament since 1983. The Women of Troy proved their grit in refusing to back down when the Cardinal took leads on all but one singles court. The Trojans had claimed a dramatic doubles point, but saw Stanford tie it up 2-2 before making a determined stand on courts 2-4. In the end, it was a set of three three-set comeback efforts - all different and yet all impressive - from Gabriella DeSimone, Danielle Lao and Sabrina Santamaria that brought home the 4-2 win. The 24-3 Trojans now turn to face another Pac-12 rival in the coming NCAA Semifinals. No. 5 seed USC will take on No. 1 seed UCLA at 1 p.m. ET on Monday (May 21) for the right to play for the 2012 national championship at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex in Athens, Ga.

LOS ANGELES - The USC baseball team lost its ninth consecutive game in an 11-1 loss to No. 14 Arizona Friday night at Dedeaux Field. The Trojans fall to 22-26 (7-18 Pac-12) on the season while the Wildcats improve to 35-15 (17-8 Pac-12).
